A free, privacy-first way to view public TikTok content from your browser.
What we do
TikTokStoryView lets you view public TikTok profiles and stories without logging in, installing the app, or creating an account. Paste a username or profile link and we fetch the publicly available information for that account — avatar, bio, follower and like counts, and any active stories — and show it in a clean, fast interface. We also let you download a creator’s profile picture in full resolution.
Why we built it
TikTok’s website makes it awkward to look something up quickly without an account, and it offers no clean way to save a profile picture or check a creator’s stats at a glance. We wanted a single page where anyone can paste a username and immediately see the public details — without being nudged to sign in, and without the creator being notified about who looked. Privacy works both ways: we don’t ask you to identify yourself, and we only ever touch data that TikTok already shows to the public.
How it works
When you submit a username, our server requests the publicly-visible data for that account and renders it for you. Your own TikTok account is never involved, so nothing is attributed back to you, and the creator’s viewer list never includes you. We cache popular lookups briefly to keep the site fast. We do not store copies of TikTok videos — media is served directly from TikTok’s own content network or proxied transiently so your browser can display it.
What we are not
TikTokStoryView is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. in any way. “TikTok” is a trademark of its respective owner. We surface only public information and respect the privacy settings of private accounts — private profiles remain private.
