Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TikTokStoryView (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) handles information when you use tiktokstoryview.com. We have built the Service to need as little of your data as possible. You do not create an account, and you never log in.
1. Information we collect
No account information. The Service does not offer sign-up or login, so we never ask for or store your name, email, or password.
Searches you perform. When you look up a TikTok username, that username is sent to our server so we can fetch the corresponding public data. We may cache the result for a short period to keep the Service fast. We do not link these lookups to your identity.
Technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp for security, abuse-prevention, and reliability. These logs are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
2. How we use information
We use the limited information above solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service — for example, to return the profile or story you requested, to prevent abuse and automated scraping, and to understand aggregate usage so we can fix problems. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies and tracking
The Service does not require cookies to function. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we introduce privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.
4. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of third parties to run the Service:
- Hosting & CDN — our application is hosted on a cloud platform that processes requests and serves pages on our behalf.
- Public data providers — to display publicly available TikTok information we may query upstream services. Only the requested public username is shared with them; never your personal data.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms and only to deliver their service to us.
5. Public TikTok data
Profile details and stories shown through the Service are public information published by TikTok users and visible to anyone on TikTok. We do not own this content, we do not permanently store TikTok videos, and we honour the privacy settings of private accounts. If you are a TikTok user and want content that features you removed from the Service, see our content removal page.
6. Data retention
Cached public results are held only briefly and then discarded. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and then removed or anonymised. We do not maintain user profiles or behavioural histories.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not maintain accounts, we typically hold little or no personal data tied to you. To make a request, email contact@tiktokstoryview.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@tiktokstoryview.com.
